Can Anyone Help?

I scorched the bottoms of two pots this week. (Bad cooking week.) I've tried soaking them for two days, and my husband tried heating them back up with baking soda in them (some trick he learned). Anyway, nothing's worked. One pot is really bad.

Any suggestions of what to do?

Can you use SOS pads in your pots without ruining them? I would also suggest trying Bar Keepers Friend to see if that works.

According to Martha Stewart: 1. Fill pot with cold water and 2 or 3 tablespoons of salt. 2. Let the pot soak overnight. 3. In a.m. slowly bring the water to a boil. The burn marks should disappear. If, however, the burns are especially harsh, you may need to repeat this process several times before they vanish. 4. Wash as usual.
