Chocolate-Dipped Snowballs

The other day, I receive an email with a recipe using Honey Bunches of Oats. It looked extremely easy, so I thought --why not?

Prep Time:30 min
Total Time:45 min
Makes:2 doz. or 24 servings, one ball each

What You Need
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
1 pkg. (10 oz.) JET-PUFFED Marshmallows
5 cups honey-flavored multi-grain cereal flakes with oat clusters and almonds
1 container (7 oz.) BAKER'S Dark Semi-Sweet Dipping Chocolate

Make It
MELT butter in large saucepan on low heat. Add marshmallows; cook 5 min. or until marshmallows are melted and mixture is well blended, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Stir in cereal. Cool slightly.

SHAPE into 24 balls with moistened hands. Place on waxed paper-covered baking sheet; cool completely.

HEAT dipping chocolate as directed on container. Dip top of each ball in chocolate; return, dipped-side up, to baking sheet. Refrigerate 15 min. or until chocolate is firm. Cover and refrigerate remaining dipping chocolate.

I made it yesterday, and it was just...ok...nothing great, but not horrible. I put them in the refrigerator and got them back out today. Today? Whole different story...yummmm!! For some reason, sitting in the fridge all day and night made it delicious. You know -there's actually quite a few dishes out there like that.

So, anyway, I'm passing the recipe along with two thumbs up. If you don't like it at first...just give it a few hours.
