Hair Help

I have a hair appointment tomorrow. I have absolutely no idea what I want. I'm a hairdresser's nightmare, I know. I usually say -"just make me look good." Then, they style me and I hate it. Why do all hairdressers make your hair totally and completely straight and flat and stuck to the side of your head like a really bad wig? Ok, maybe not all hairdressers do this, but it seems the ones I've found lately do it. My hair is thick, wavy, and pretty much style-free, so I need some serious help. Oh, and I have a big, giant, round "moon face" (as we call it in my family...no they aren't being mean to me, we ALL have it!). So, what will look good? I have absolutely no idea.

You know these women that you see out that have this complete air of sophistication about them? They may not be technically beautiful, but they are stylish and "put together". I am on the other end of that spectrum. No matter how much time I spend on my hair, I always look like I just rolled out of bed. And I don't mean the sexy bedhead look. I mean the are-you-sure-you're-not-really-homeless look. As if any minute, someone might reach into their pocket and throw some spare change at me. Yeah...I need a style intervention...I'm just not sure where to start...
