Growing up in West Virginia, it wasn't hard to find a chunk of land to roam or hike. They don't call it "Wild, Wonderful, West Virginia" for nothing!
However, many places aren't that fortunate. You have to really search if you are a nature lover.
NatureFind is a website that does the searching for you. All you do is type in your zip code, and NatureFind locates parks, preserves, or any other "outdoorsy" place to explore. There's also a tab with a calendar of nature-related events.
