I took my daughter to her first Easter egg hunt today. That was a crazy scene - a dozen one and two-year-olds running around, hopped up on Capri-Sun and chocolate.
Anyway, it took her a while to get the hang of it. She immediately picked up the first egg, and instead of just dropping it in her basket and grabbing another, she opened it. Once she discovered the candy inside, then she simply plopped her little butt on the floor, and proceeded to chew off the wrapper. I had to coax it out of her hand and encourage her to find some more eggs. Finally, she decided to get up and grab some more, but by that point, there weren't many left. I think she found eight. I thought that was still pretty good.
After that, the teachers brought out oreos, so the eggs were forgotten anyway.
Now, she's in her bed sleeping off her sugar coma. What a life she has!:-)
