Man of the House

My son has been really good with helping me today. (Daddy had a heart-to-heart talk with him about his attitude last night.)

Well, once he saw that I was getting ready to put his sister down for a nap, he said, "I want to go out and ride my bike."

It's cold today - low 40's. That's cold for this area, anyway.

So, I say, "Are you sure you want to ride your bike right now? It's really cold out there!"

And this is his reply: "Just give me the big coat, and let me take it like a man."

There were maybe three seconds of silence, and then I busted out laughing. After that, I handed him his coat... his big coat. I had to let him win with an argument like that.
