I Take It Back...

The vinegar worked!

Well...not completely, but almost. I went down this morning to work on the pots some more after they were both soaking all night, and the one that wasn't so bad wiped completely clean with no effort at all! The pot that was really scorched has just a few bad spots left it in. I'm going to let it soak the rest of the day, and that should take care of it.
