TGIF, my &$@

Not even 9:00 a.m. and already I'm sick of this day.

I woke up to a nice surprise from Mother Nature. Hooray. And almost one week early, too. Again...hooray...

My daughter's usual sleeping habits consist of going back to sleep after taking my son to school. She'll sleep about an hour. But today...today when I just want to be left alone with my hormones...today she sleeps maybe 20 minutes. Twenty minutes!!! And what have I done with that time...fight with this stupid computer!!! Maybe it's having hormone issues, too. Don't know...don't care...just very irritated...

So, now I have to get her, feed her, entertain her and -worst of all- fake some sort of pleasantness that I want no part of today. I want to be left alone with a hot beverage, a heating pad, and the remote. That's what I want... What I have, on the other hand, is an increasingly annoyed child, a basketful (plus some) of laundry that HAS to be done, and cramps. Isn't this a recipe for a lovely day?
