My Carefree Life

Ok, it's been a hard day...harder than usual. Here's a rundown:

6:30 a.m. - get up, get ready
6:45-7:15 - get son up and ready, give him juice (he will NOT eat breakfast!), prepare his snack and lunch, get coffee, get daughter's milk ready, pack golf cart
7:15 - get daughter who coughs until she can't breathe, then throws up all over both of us. Clean her up, change her clothes and we leave around 7:25
7:45 - we're back; rock daughter -make sure she's ok, put her back down for another hour before her "school"
9:00- check on daughter who is covered in throw up again. It's also all over bed, floor, and basket near floor. Everything must be taken off and cleaned. Start with daughter...of course!
While I'm changing her, she throws up again. I comfort her, the put her on the floor to clean her changing area and...she throws up again.
9:45 - daughter is clean, bed is clean and remade, floor and basket are clean. Off we go downstairs to wash everything and call doctor
10:00 - give daughter a few cheerios and juice. She drinks the juice and throws the cheerios into the floor. I take her down from the booster seat. She sees a cheerio on her booster seat, grabs it, then hurls it across the room.
10:15- sweep floor, call doctor, and load washer
10:18- walk into living room where daughter is (safely) gated in for the past three minutes and notice daughter has found her brother's cup full of juice. She turns around and I realize she has dumped it all down the front of her, and there is a puddle on the coffee table, not to mention the floor.
10:19- run to laundry room and take clean clothes out of dryer (for daughter); realize the washing machine is leaking all over the floor. Grab beach towels from closet to sop it up. Run back into living room.
10:30 - daughter is dressed; washing machine is leaking, but not bad; begin to fold clothes. Things slow down.
11:30 - daughter back into bed. Phone rings...it's the doctor...come in after lunch...
11:35 - try to think of what to do with son while I take daughter to doctor. Make calls...nothing...
1:00 -get daughter; change BAD diaper; prepare snacks for doctor's office; brush hair (haha -just kidding...who has time for that?!)
1:30 -pick up son from school (what else can I do?); deal with him being mad over getting taken out of recess.
1:45 - appointment
2:25 - get into doctor's waiting room ; daughter throws up again
2:45 - seen by doctor...it's a virus...sick Pictures, Images and Photos
3:15 - leave doctor...go to pharmacy...then dry cleaner's...then McDonald's (not for me!)...then home
3:45 - necessary phone calls
4:00 - daughter back in bed; watch Scooby with son and eat candy
4:30 - work on school project; clean up mess
5:30 - come on here
Predicted:
6:00 - make dinner; clean kitchen, put clothes away; get school forms signed and together; more and more laundry, etc.
9:00 - better be in bed watching "The Office" and working the daily sudoku
And that's pretty much it...
