My daughter has been saying her new word a lot lately -"yes". What a good word for a toddler to repeat over and over and over...well, except that it doesn't exactly sound like "yes". I know what she is saying, but, well, here's an example:
Me: Would you like some juice?
Daughter: Ass
(See...not exactly "yes")
Me: Can you see daddy outside?
Daughter: Ass
Me: Do you want some more spaghetti?
Daughter: Ass
Well, you get the idea. I think that a toddler that is trying to say "yes" is a nice change of pace, anyway! I'm sure she'll be able to say it correctly soon enough.
