I had to call today to reschedule my son's dental appointment (see yesterday's post). I wrote it down on a notepad by the phone and even underlined it. As soon as I hung up the phone, I opened a 2-liter of Diet Cherry 7-up (love that stuff!) and it exploded all over that side of the kitchen. What did it completely soak? You guessed it...the notepad with the appointment. (sigh) So, after I cleaned up the kitchen and finally poured me a drink, I had enough sense to write it down again...on a DRY notebook...at another part of the kitchen.
Later, I was cleaning out the golf cart. (I had a few extra minutes.) And guess what I found? A carton of eggs! This time...not MY FAULT! My husband said that he went to Wal-mart the weekend before last (BEFORE LAST!!!) and completely forgot he put them on the little shelf in front. Oh, well.
Can you believe that OUR SON won an award for organization?!!!
