Extra Guac For Me

We went out to eat tonight at a local Mexican restaurant. (Yes, I finally got my big butt out of bed.) Anyway, it was fairly busy and they seemed a little short-handed. No big deal -things were just a little slower. The food was still really, really good!

Anyway, we were put next to a table of about eight or nine people and that included three children. I would guess their ages to be between four and ten. So, through their entire meal the children were up and down, from one side of the table to the other. They were squeezing past people and standing on their chairs. It was really pleasant. (cough, cough) The adults were apparently so deep into conversation that they barely noticed or, and this is a horrible thought, they thought the kids were being well-behaved. (If that was the case, then I would hate to see them at home.) The adults were just plain loud, especially this one woman. She talked like a normal person might yell. And you know, when they finally left, I realized that the restaurant was playing music! I honestly had no idea before then! But, hey, they left right after we were served, so we had a pretty relaxing meal after that.
