Wow...my first post on my first blog!! Yes, I'm excited! Guess that show's you how "uncool" I really am. Doesn't really matter to me. I am who I am. My husband may think I'm uncool because I'm no fashionista in my thick glasses and sweatpants, but I like the way Susan Borowitz described "uncool mom" in her book "When We're in Public, Pretend You Don't Know Me." She said that "the uncool mom is the mom who is there and is loving and supportive, but really can draw the line when she needs to. " Even though my children are very, very young, that's the kind of mom that I want to always be. And, if they want to call me "uncool", then so be it. I'll wear the label proudly, and keep doing the best job that I can.

Anyway, like I said this is my first blog, and I hope to make it interesting for everyone. I'd like to be able to tell you what to expect, but I really don't know. Every day will bring something different. Hope you'll tune in to see what that will be!
